What is a PSI Accredited Pet Sitter and why did you become one?
An accredited pet sitter through PSI (Pet Sitters International) is a pet-sitter that must conform to PSI guidelines and demonstrate proficiency and professionalism in business skills and practices. The curriculum covers the care of various species of companion animals, pet health and nutrition, business and office procedures, and additional pet-care services commonly offered by pet sitters. Each chapter is especially tailored to provide the knowledge and proficiencies required of a professional pet sitter. The requirements of the Accreditation Program help ensure a high level of pet-care competency. This means that pet owners can rely on a PSI Accredited Pet Sitter for top-quality care for their furry family members.
I decided to become accredited with PSI because I want to offer my clients the best quality service possible and take care of their pets as if they were my own.
How many visits can you do in a day?
I can visit your pet up to 3 times per day. For vacation clients I require that dogs have a minimum of 2 visits per day while cats can have 1 per day.
Can you provide references?
I can and will be happy to upon request. Check out some online reviews at Insider Pages or Yelp
